Day 1: Arrival in Phoenix/Scottsdale, Arizona

We’ll pick you up at the airport and deliver you to your hotel. Later that day, you’ll get a chance to inspect your motorcycle and go over your tour itinerary. We’ll have dinner at a traditional Western-style American restaurant, before taking you back to your comfortable hotel for a good night’s sleep.

Day 2: Scottsdale to Winslow

Today we head north, traveling steadily through the flat lushness of the Verde Valley through breezy pine forested low mountains.  We’ll pass all that Arizona is known for: western style ranches, ancient limestone dwellings, and narrow, winding canyons.  We’ll make a stop in the hillside Old West town of Jerome before heading out through the fiery red and towering rocks of famous Sedona and the twisties of Oak Creek Canyon.

Day 3: Winslow to Chinle

We begin the day on Route 66, heading through the rugged high desert of northeastern Arizona, stopping for a break at the 225 million year old Petrified Forest and the sheer sandstone walls of the Canyon de Chelly, which house the 1000 year old Ancestral Puebloan dwellings.  Tonight we overnight in Chinle on the Navaho Reservation.

Day 4: Chinle to Kayenta

Today we ride the cliff-hugger curves and hairpin turns of the Million Dollar Highway, a motorcycle thrill-seekers paradise.  Then we head into Utah, past the towering rocks of world-famous Monument Valley, the backdrop for many cowboy Western movies.

Day 5: Kayenta to St. George, Utah

We’ll take the scenic road to the Grand Canyon, passing the gorgeous, sparkling blue waters that lap the red rock sides of Lake Powell.  The ride through Zion National Park is stunning, with its massive sandstone cliffs of cream, pink and red reaching high into the bright blue sky.  Today we end the day in St. George, Utah just outside Grand Canyon National Park.

Day 6: St. George to Grand Canyon National Park

The Grand Canyon is one of America’s best National Parks, its 1.2 million acres of rugged plateaus, crumbly spires, and shadowed ridges a marvel to behold.  We’ll take you there on the best motorcycle roads along the Rim, stopping at the best viewpoints along the way.

Day 7: Grand Canyon to Scottsdale

We’re back on old Route 66 today, through the quaint town of Williams, then south towards Scottsdale again.  If you did not have time to explore Old Town in Scottsdale, you can shop for Stetson hats and cowboy boot souvenirs at the Old West boutiques before our Farewell Dinner tonight.

Day 8: Depart Phoenix/Scottsdale

Today you can relax or explore the sights of Scottsdale or the surrounding city of Phoenix.  If your flight leaves today, we’ll take you to the airport.
